Moved by Councillor Chrumka, that any others who attended the Banff s ;_ Courses be mid $125.00 for expenses. ~, ,Carried. .. The minutes of May 24th meeting were read and adopted. Moved by Councillor Chrumk~., that we accept the (Secretaries, May statement of Receipts & Payments. Carried. Moved by Councillor Bartlett, that we accept the NL3y statement of Estimates and Expenditures. `Carried. Letter from Provinci~.l Planning Director re NE 5-18_14-4 was r.~ead. Moved by Councillor Hajash, that we approve this application, subject to all other regulations being met. Carried. Letter from Provincial Planning Director re 'SW 6-20-13-4 was read. Moved by Councillor Musgrove, that we approve this application, subject to all other regulations being met. Carried. Moved by :Councillor Chrumka, that a list of employees be drawn up for this purpose, and reviewed. Carried. Letter from Treasury Branch re increased interest rates was read and ordered filed. Letter from Vegetable ;S~rndicate re purchase of desk was read. Moved by Councillor Larsen, that we sell this desk to them for $15.00. ' Letter from Bassano Centennial Commute ~, re grant was read and referred to Councillor Hall for further inforruion. Letter from Public Pension Board re G.W. Philpott pension was read, and the 6ecretary advised to speak to Mr. Ph-~lpott on this matter and advise. Copy of a letter from the County of Forty Mile to Medicine Hat Health Unit was read. Moved by Councillor Bartlett, that we concer with the thinking of the County of Forty Mile in this matter. Motion Lost. Adjourned for lunch 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Letter from Alberta Hospitals Services re Brooks Hospital District Boundaries was read. Copy of a letter from Bassano Hospital District to Ailberta Hospital 'Services was read. Moved by Councillor Bergen, that we advise the Department that neither of the Hospital Boards have received advice on the proposed boundaries changes, and that this matter should be reviewed with them, before we make a decision on this matter. Carried. Ferguson ;Supply, met with the Council to discuss the rental of TTS 145. Moved by Councillor Musgrove, that we sign the p:~rchase option agreement with Ferguson :Supply. Carried. Moved by Councillor Bergen, that we adjourn the Council meeting for theSchool Committee Meeting at 3:30 p.m. and reconvine after that meeting. Carried. Council Meeting reconvined at 4;45 p.m. Letter from the Licensing Branch re NW 21-16-15-4 was read. Moved by Councillor Mandeville, that we approve this application subject to all other regulations being met. Carr~.ed. Letter from Canadian Western Natural Gas Co., re system at Rainier- Scandia was read. Moved by tCouncillor Mandeville, that we obtain more information on this, as a 'Co-Op is being set up in this area. Carried. Municipal Moved by Councillor Bergen, that we accept the Ha.rdsurface tender from Gallellie & Sons in the amount of $108,843.08. Carried. Moved by Councillor Bergen, that we accept this report.
