April 11, 1968 Resolution A Resolution of the County of Newell No. 4, Brooks, Alberta to apply to the Provincial Government taxing authority to issue authority to use Purple Gas in a11~School Busses. Whereas, School Busses are used exclusively for the pu~'poses of transportingv'children, to and from school. And Whereas, this operation is on a none commerical basis. Find Whereas, ~rhese busses must use regular gas in there present .operation, at a much higher cost. And Whereas, with the rising costs of Education being a conesrn4.~. of all Governments, it is felt that a change in these regulations would bring a saving to all Governments. Therefore, be it resolved, that this County of Newell No. 4 apply to the Provincial Government, through their,~ssociation, to have the Provincial Government change its regulations in order that Purple Gas mzy be used in all School Busses.
