County of Newell No. 4 Resolution Marciz 10, 1967 A resolution of the County of Newell No. 4 to provide for the orderly control of employees of the County of Newell, when reaching the age of 65 years . Whereas, this County Council is fully appreciative of the fact that employees of the County reaching the age of 65 years may very well still be capable of performing their duties in an efficient and satisfactory manner. And whereas, with the advent of the Canada Pension Plan, and the revised Old Age Security Pensions, it would appear that the plans have been adopted to provide a reasonable living allozsance, to persons attaining the age of 65 years. Therefore be it resolved thatthis County Council hereby enact that the retirement age of the County employees be 65 years, Tfrith the provision that at the discretion of the County Council this date may be adjusted should there be very exceptional circumstances, making it not in the best interest of the County and/or the employees concerned. RM 1~P SPECIAL VICIPAL PPLtEB LTD. i u i ~~~ S County of Newell No. 4 Resolution, December 9th, 1966 A resolution of the County of Newell No. 4, as required by Section 55 of the Assessment Act being Chapter 5 RSA 1960 to permit the assessment of certain properties in the County, that were omitted in the 1966 assessment. Whereas, it has been found that a number of assessments were not assessed prior to the 31st day of December, as required by statute, And Whereas, the County Council desires that this omission be corrected, Therefore, be it resolved, that the County Council direct the assessor to assess the following properties forthwith as they should have been assessed under the requirements of the Act, and include the assessment in a return to the Secretary-Treasurer, to place the assessments on the assessment roll.
