Special Council Meeting

A special Meeting of the Council of the County of Newell No. 4 was
held in the County Office in Brooks, Alberta at 8;00 p.m. on Ti~ursday
October 14th, 1965.

The Special Meeting was called at the direction of the Reeve, for the
purpose of giving 2nd and 3rd Readings to Bylaw No. 278 and to meet with
Mr. Maxwell, the Architect, to consider and discuss the final plans and
specifications for the New Office Building,-and to decide the date for the
advertising and closing date for tenders.
All Councillors were contacted by telephone to confirm the date and time
of the meeting, and Notice of Meeting was mailed to all Councillors.

Mr. M. Maxwell and Miss E. Lomas of the firm of Maxwell and Campbell,
Architects etc. were in attendance at the meeting.

Moved by Councillor Chrumka, that Bylaw 278 be given 2nd, and 3rd read-
ings and finally passed, subject to the approval of the Minister of
Municipal Affairs.
Carried Unanimously.
Moved by Councillor Chrumka, that the Special Meeting be adjourned and
that the Council resume in session with regular County Council business.
Carried.
