The Special Meeting was called by the Reeve at the request
of Mri Delday MwL.Ao for the purpose of discussing the
~Iew Bridge Agreements and various other road problems;,

Mr. Delday opened the meeting by explaining the reason --
for suggesting the meeting of the three groups! and recom»
mended that the Minister be chairman of the meeting.

Mr. Taylor had the heads of each authority introduce its
members and suggested a plan of conduct for the meeting.

Mr• Sanden~ Chief Bridge Engineer explained the governing
legislation covering the County the E•IwD~, and the Dept
as it relates to the duties of each authority,

Mr. Offet~ Solicitor for the EwI•D• presented a brief on
their behalf which was discussed item by item where issue
was taken with sections of the Bridge Agreement,
