The minutes of the previous meeting of June 7, 1962 were read and adopted. . . . s . ~ Moved by Gouncillor Chrumka, that the Secretary=s report of Receipts and Payments for the month of June be accepted. Carried. • • • ! • 4 A letter from the Board of Transport Commissioners re the closing of the C.P„R, Branch Line Cassils to Scandia was read and ordered held pending notice of the Public hearing. • • • f ! M A letter from the Bow Slope Mutual Telephone Co• re telephone poles on road allowances was read and ordered filed. • . , A letter from the Bow Slope Mutual Telephone Go. re location of a terminal building was read. Moved by Councillor Mandeville that an easement be given to the Bow Slope Mutual Telephone Go, to locate their terminal building on that part of the County property at the Scandia School Site now under lease to the Scandia Community C~antre on the NW side of the access road to ~ Highway 36. Carried. s • w • • s A letter from California Standard requesting permission to cross tine County road allowance between NE Sec 22 ~ NW Sec 23 p 20 ~ 12 ~- W4 was read. Moved by Gouncillor Armstrong that permission be granted California Standard to cross the road allowance as requested providing they agree to place their line at least 8 ft. below the level of the adjoining land surface for a distance of $0 ft, each side from the centre of the road allowance.
