WHEEtEAS the Main District Highway ~.1 - 1 - 30 is with the development of the Bindloss Gas Field, the :Alberta Gas Trunk Line and the Trans-Canada Pipe Line, becoming an important through road to the Empress, Bindloss, Buffalo, Jenner area, .AND WIH;RE~S the revenue received from the lands thru which this road passes is unconsequential in comparison to the cost of maintaining this road to a standard required by the use made of the road, .AND WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell No. 4 is of the opinion that this road is one of the most important in this area, THEREFORE be it resolved that the County of Newell No. 4 request that the status of this road be changed from a Main District Highway to a Secondary Provincial Highway.
