The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the County of
Newell. No. 4 was held in the County Office in Brooks, .,Alberta,
at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6th, 1957.

The minutes of the previous meeting of November 8th, 1957 were
read and adopted,

Moved by Councillor Mcg7.eese that the Secretaryts report of Receipts, ~
Disbursements and monthly progress for the month of November
be accepted.

Notice from P, F. ,A. ;~, advising of "No Block" in Townships 16 ~
in Ranges 15 ~ lb was received and ordered filed.

Correspondence from the Nbthers~ Allowance Branch re Mrs. Mikula
and Mrs. Erns was read and ordered filed,

The Chairman and Secretary were authorized to sign the Calgary
Power Ltd. plans of extension at the new Royalite bulk station. '

letter from P. F. R. ;~. re the .Alkali Testing in the County .~
was read and ordered filed.

The Secretary d,,ias directed to reply to the Department of Surveys
re the Kinbrook Park Road Railway Crossing and also to enquire
re the fencing on the road allowance at the Rolling Hills crossing,

Moved by Councillor Lokier that approval be given to Change Order # 2
for the East Rolling Hills school.

D~. J. Brown, Medicine Hat Health Unit, attended the meeting at the
request of the Council and gave information with regard to the
Dental :Service to be instituted in the Health Unit„

and finally passed„
