A letter from Mr. Hinman, Provincial Treasurer, re the proposed
borrowing for the Bassano hospital was read and the Secretary
was directed to reply, pointing out that consideration had not been
given in the new figures for the ~ 25,000,00 grant from the
Dosiriion Government, and other pertinent facts re occupancy, etc,

Dra ~. B• Davidson of the Health of Animals Branch met the Council
to discuss the TaB• testing program that is to be commenced
in the County almost immediately,

The Secretary advised that the necessary Board Order granting authority
to borrow ~ 100,000p00 for the construction and equipping of the
new Rosemary school had been received.

at Gem was ordered to be held over pending more information. ~

Moved by Councillor Mortensen that the County accept the offer
of Construction Equipment to trade in the.aiuatin 99 Motor Grader
with snow plow and wing for the sum of ~ 15,000.00 to apply
on the purchase of a new Adams 550 l~btor Grader with snow plow
and wing for a net coat of $12,,700,00 including the heavy ~
snow plow and 10" wheel rims.
