Idoved by Councillor P~FeAleese that the Secretary~s reports of Receipts, Disbursements and Nbnthly Progress be accepted, Carried, . . Copy of a letter advising idrs. Dueck of her "~' 65.00 a month r~~otherts Allowance was read and ordered filed. . . Correspondence with the Premier H, C. iKanning re the closing of the antelope season was read and ordered filed, . . ~; Advice was received from the Prairie Farm Assistance of allocations ~~~ of assistance. ~~/, %;' G &pp:Lication by N. Carried. . . . Councillor h1c,~l.eese reported with regard to the acquiring of gravel pit sites and recommended the purchase of approx. 40 acres of land in the S. E. 7 - 22 - 12 - 4 for this purpose, which Mr. Jogn Ostafichuk was prepared to sell to the County for the sum of ~ 3,000.00. . . moved by Councillor McAleese, that Bylaw # 1L,.5 being a bylaw to authorize the purchase of land for gravel site be given Ist, 2nd and 3rd readings and finally passed. Carried Unan. . . The Chairman and Secretary were authorized to complete and sign the agreement with the vendor Iylr. John Ostafichuk with the paragraph re the vendor paying for the survey being eliminated. . . Moved by Councillor i~fortensen that Councillor Mcal.eese be autY~orized to proceed with the proposed. acquiring of further gravel ~~ sites on the Lelek farm, Carried. School committee. Moved by Councillor Plumer, that the report of the School Committee be accepted, Carried. . . Moved by Councillor Plumer, that the plumbing operations at the Rosemary school be suspended pending further arrangements. Carried. . • • • • Moved by Councillor Lokier, that the request of A. Husby, to purchase his teacherage at Tilley be refused. Carried. 4 . • • • Agricultural Service Board. The Secretary was directed to advise the Brooks F. U. A. that the County was not able to obtain any consideration in the purchase of fertilizer and would not handle it. . . P•loved by Councillor Lokier, that the request be made to the Department of Agriculture to have the Public Notice re Weeds constituted as legal notice to the ratepayers, Carried. i~loved by Councillor Lokier, that the report of the Agricultural Service Board be accepted..
