The minutes of the meeting of August; 10th, 195b and the Court of Revision of September 11th, 1956, were r~$ad and adopted, . . Moved by Councillor McAleese, that the Secretary's Statement;;. of Receipts, Expenditures and Monthly Progress for the month of lugust be accepted. Carried„ . . . A. letter from the Department of Education re the Rosemary school changes and grants etc. was read and ordered filed, . . . . Carried. . • w r r Civil Defence. Moved by Councillor Lokier, that Mr. George Cherritt be compensated for his duties with regard to Civil Defence on the basis of ~ 300.00 per year. Carried. . . . School Committee,_ ~ Moved by Councillor Ockey, that in view of the saving in price ~. Tape Recorders be ordered for use in the Tilley, Bassano, Duchess and Rolling Bills schools. Carried• . . . . .
