Moved by Councillor :,araksa, that Bylaw 110 being; a bylaw j� to implement a Civil Defence Organization be riven 3rd readin; and finally passed. Carried Unanimously. R-P—Special SUPPLIES LTD, ,eports of Committees. School Heport Moved by Councilior Ockey, that one year contracts for Sclmol Van Operators be drawn up to expire June 30th, 1955. a4.f.Carried. Adjourned for lunch 12:40 to 1:40 p.m. .• a a C Municipal Heport Councillor uraraksa undertook to investigate the possibility of a gravel deposit on the Hendrickson pl-._ce at Tilley, to ascebrtain depth of overburden, volume , cost of removing over urden, etc, I ..0 A�-ricultural Service Board. Moved by Councillor Arrison, that the �q;ricultu-re Service Board :)upervisor's report for the year be accepted and that it be incorporated in the Annual,Leport of the County. Carried. A letter from the Brooks Rest Room Society regardin-• the removal. of trees was ordered filed. A letter from Trapp Farms Ltd., Bassano re,-;aro.ing roadwork was read. The Secretary was directed to return the cheque for 4300.00 on account of our bein;J unable to do the work,-. re�_uested. f3-P—Special SUPPLIES LTD. 183 -2- The Secretary was directed to advise the Brooks Public Library Association that a donation to that organization could not; be made. Correspondence from the Lep=rtment of Education, Public Utilities Commission, and Nieech,Mitchell, Robins & Associates re�-;ardin�; the Duchess School was read and ordered filed. Moved by Councillor iiortensen, that approval be the subdivision of 5.'F1. 17-19-14-4 as requested from iviahoney & Starritt, November 30, 1952: arried. Ti ven to by a letter Preliminary plans by Farm Llectric Services for extensions in the Bolling Hills area were approved. Minutes of a Special Meeting of the i4iedi cine Hat Health Unit were ordered filed. The secretary was directed to acknowledge a letter from Harold Tiley regardin the architects' fees and: to advise him of t -he Council's concurrence in his su-,,-,estions. lvioved by Councillor Shuttleworth, that the Annual Meeting of the County be held at the Elks Hall, Brooks, on Saturday, February 19th, 1955 at 2:00 p.m. Carried. The Secretary was directed to advise the School Committee that the coal delivered to the Imperial Colony School was of an inferior quality.
