Minutes of Special Council Meeting

A special Council Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held in the County
Office at Brooks, AB on Monday, December 16, 2002 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

.- Moved by Councillor Loewen that we move in camera. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Vermeeren that we move out of camera. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Moss that we accept the recommendations put forth at this
meeting by the Salary Negotiating Committee. Carried.
2. Adjourn
Moved by Councillor Loewen that the meeting adjourn at 10:25 a.m. Carried.

WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
Pursuant to Section 194(4) of the Municipal Government Act, we the undersigned, Councillors of
the County of Newell No. 4, agree to waive Notice of a Special Council Meeting to be held on
Monday, December 16, 2002 commencing at 10:00 a.m.
The matters for discussion in this Special Meeting include:

a) Employee issue and compensation
b) 2003 salary negotiation base
