Doyle, Brooks Bulletin The Chairman called the meeting to order at 10:02 a.m. 2. EXCUSED FROM MEETING All members were present. 3. MINUTES 3.1. May 25, 2017 Meeting Minutes MOVED BY COUNCILLOR ANNE MARIE PHILIPSEN that the minutes of the May 25, 2017 Municipal Planning Commission meeting be adopted as presented. C9 MOTION CARRIED 4. CALL FOR POST AGENDA ITEMS The Chairman called for post agenda items. 5. ADOPTION OF AGENDA P-48/17 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR ELLEN UNRUH that the agenda be adopted as presented. MOTION CARRIED 6. DEVELOPMENT REPORT The Development Clerk was available to answer questions from MPC. The Development Report was accepted as information. 7. SUBDIVISIONS 7.1 2017-0-059 - Railway R/W Plan R.W. 219 and all Lots 1MR & Lot 2, Block 6, Plan 1312986 within NE1/419-15-15-W4M & S112 30-15-15-W4M, To subdivide a surplus portion of the old railway and station grounds in Scandia and consolidate the subdivided portions with the adjacent titles. The County Planner provided background information on the proposed subdivision application. Councillor K. Christman inquired if the gravel had been removed from the railway ROW. The County Planner replied that since the railway ROW was outside of the proposed property, she couldn't confirm if the gravel had been removed. Councillor C. Amulung asked if the larger portion of the parcel would be made available for purchase by the adjacent landowners. The County Planner indicated that her understanding was the land would be offered to the adjacent landowner for purchase and consolidation. P-49/17 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR KELLY CHRISTMAN THAT the Agricultural and Municipal Reserve subdivision of Railway RM Plan R.W. 219 and all of Lots 1 MR & Lot 2, Block 6, Plan 1312986 within NE1/4 19-15-15-W4M & S1/2 30-15-15-W4M (Certificate of Title No. 071 384 809 +5, 1161<244) to subdivide a surplus portion of the old railway and station grounds and consolidate the subdivided portions with the adjacent titles BE APPROVED subject to the following: CONDITIONS: 1. That, pursuant to Section 654(1)(d) of the Municipal Government Act, all outstanding property taxes shall be paid to the County of Newell. 2. That the 0.38 acre (0.16 ha) subdivided portion of Railway RM Plan R.W. 219 be consolidated with the adjacent parcel legally known as Lot 1 MR, Block 6, Plan 131 2986 in a manner such that the resulting Certificate of Title could not be subdivided without the approval of the Subdivision Authority. 3. That the 2.21 acre (0.89 ha) subdivided portion of Railway RM Plan 219 be consolidated with the adjacent parcel legally known as Lot 2, Block 6, Plan 131 2986 in a manner such that the resulting Certificate of Title could not be subdivided without the approval of the Subdivision Authority. 8.
