Bylaw No. 1705 -10
BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell No. 4 in the Province of Alberta to adopt a Municipal
Development Plan.
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell No. 4 wishes to adopt a municipal development plan to
comply with the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter
M -26, as amended;
AND WHEREAS the purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 1705 -10 is to provide a comprehensive, long -range
land use plan pursuant to the provisions outlined in the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of
Alberta 2000, Chapter M -26, as amended;
THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act,
Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M -26, as amended, the Council of the County of Newell No. 4
No. 66 in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled does hereby enact as follows:
1. Bylaw No. 1705 -10, being the new Municipal Development Plan is herby adopted.
2. Bylaw 1442 -03, being the former Municipal Development Plan and any amendments thereto are
hereby rescinded.
3. Bylaw No. 1705 -10 shall come into effect upon the third and final reading hereof.
