IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BYLAW NO. 2040-22
BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, for the purpose of regulating
and designating certain plants as "Prohibited noxious" or "Noxious."
WHEREAS under the Authority of the Weed Control Act, Statutes of Alberta 2008 and Section
(9) of the associated Weed Control Regulation, Alberta Regulation 19/2010, amended June 17,
2010 the Council of the County of Newell hereby declares as follows:
THAT in addition to Alberta Regulation 19/2010, the County of Newell hereby
designates the following as Prohibited noxious:
(a) Scentless Chamomile - Tripleurospermum inodorum
(b) Leafy Spurge - Euphorbia esu/a L.
2. Bylaw 2040-22 shall come into effect upon third and final reading thereof and
hereby rescinds the following bylaws:

Newell County under Section 9 of the Alberta Weed Control Regulation.
I am pleased to approve Bylaw No. 2040-22, to rescind Bylaw No. 1714-10 and carryover
scentless chamomile and leafy spurge as "Prohibited Noxious Weeds." The signed document is
attached.
