Municipal Planning Commission
May 20, 1981
The regular meeting of the Municipal Planning Commission of the
County of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks,
Alberta on May 20, 1981 at 7:30 p.m.

1. Minutes
The minutes of the meeting held April 22, 1981 were read. Moved
by S. Merkl that we adopt these minutes. Carried.
2. (a) Development Applications
1. W. Cooley - Welding Shop - Moved by T. Musgrove that the
application of W. Cooley be brought back to the table. Carried.
Moved by T. Musgrove that we approve the application. Carried.
2. R. McTavish - Moved-in House - The Development Control Officer
advised that this application had .been withdrawn.
(b) Waive Set-back Regulation - E.I.D.
An application by the E.I.D. to waive the 125' set-back regulation
for a house on the NW 9-23-16-4 was presented. Moved by J. Hajash
that we waive the set-back regulation to 95'. Carried.
(c) Land Use Change - M. Knutson
An application by M. Knutston for a land use change from Agriculture
to Country Residence was presented. Moved by T. Musgrove that we
recommend to County Council the advertising of this request. Carried.
3. Other
Moved by E. Willms that Commission Meetings commence at 8:00 p.m.
during the summer. Carried.
