Municipal Planning Commission
June 24, 1981
The regular meeting of the Municipal Planning Commission of the
County of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks,
Alberta on June 24, 1981 commencing at 4:00 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the May 20, 1981 meeting were presented to the Committee.
Moved by S. Merkl that we adopt these minutes. Carried.
2. Development Applications
1. Clive Schaupmeyer - Pt. NW 34-19-14-4 Urban Fringe to Country Res.
This application was reviewed and as this Land Use Change was not
required, the application was filed.
2. D.H. Endersby - Pt. NW 5-21-14-4 - Land Use Change
This application was reviewed and it was moved by Councillor Musgrove
that we table this application for further review. Carried.
3. Larry Knibbs - Waiver of By-law re: Scandia Lots
This item was reviewed and it was moved by Councillor Hajash that
we table this item for further review. Carried.
4. Private Swimming Pools - By-law Regulations
This item was studied and tabled for further review.
3. July Meeting
Moved by S. Merkl that the July Meeting be set for July 20/81.
Carried.
4. Other Business
1. Lemus Trailer
Information was presented~to the Committee in regard to seepage of
sewage from this trailer.
2. Bow City Wrecked Autos
Information was presented to the Committee in regard to these
vehicles on Revelstoke Property.
3. Glen Alcock
Information was presented to the Committee advising that some
work has been done on this lot but no fence has been built at
this date.
4. Rainier School Dug-out
Information was presented to the Committee on this and a review
on the responsibilities of the Utility Officer is to be considered.
Moved by Councillor Hajash that we recommend to County Council that
they draft a Policy in regard to the Utility Officer's duty concerning
water supply systems in the County. Carried.
