Municipal Planning Commission
August 19, 1981
The regular meeting of the Municipal Planning Commission of the
County of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks,
Alberta on August 19, 1981 commencing at 8:10 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the July 20, 1981 meeting were read to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Hajash that we adopt these minutes. Carried.
2. Business from the Minutes
1. D.A. Endersby - Application for Land Use Change
Moved by Councillor Musgrove that we lift this item from the table.
Carried. This application was discussed further. Moved by Councillor
Musgrove that we approve the advertising of this Land Use change from
Agricultural to Country Residence. Carried.

2. Land Use Change - Peter Peters
Moved by Councillor Hajash that we lift this item from table. Carried.
A further review was made of this application. Moved by E. Wilms
that we approve the advertising of this application for Land Use change
from Agricultural to Country Residence. Carried.
3. Discretionary Use - Building Permit
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to a permit
issued for intensive livestock confinement to Anderson Farms at
Scandia.
4. Discretionary Use Permit
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to a permit
issued for intensive livestock confinement to VanHall of Scandia.
5. Moved in Buildings
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to the
house moving operation of P. Sheperd and his proposal to move one
house within the County and possibly two to the Hamlet of Patricia.
Mr. Sheperd was to meet with the Commission to discuss his operation
within the County, but did not appear at this meeting.
6. - Land Use Changes
1. Wright
An application from Mr. Wright for a Land Use Change from Urban
Fr mge to Country Residence in the SW 15-21-18-4 was presented to
the Commission. After discussion on this item, it was moved by
Councillor Musgrove that we table this item for more information.
Carried.
2. Jensen
An applciation from Mr. Jensen for a Land Use Change from Urban
Fringe to Country Residence in the N~ of L.S.D. 5 21-19-14-4 was
presented to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Hajash that we
proceed with the necessary advertising for Land Use Change. Carried.
7. Moved-in Houses
1. W. Goudie
An applciation from W. Goudie to move a house to the SW 17-21-17-4
was presented to the Commission. Moved by E. Wilms that we approve
this application. Carried.
2. B. Adams
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to a house
moved to the SE 32-21-16-4 without a permit.
8. Developments Without Permits
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this item.
9. Developments Contrary to By-Law Part IV Sec. 8 No. 2
Discussion took place in regard to this item as covered under the
Land Use By-Law.
10. Adjourned
Moved by Couueillor Musgrove that the meeting adjourn at 9;15 p.m.
Carried.
