Municipal Planning Commission
November 10, 1981
The regular meeting of the Municipal Planning Commission of the
County of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks,
Alberta on Tuesday, November 10, 1981 commencing at 7:30 p.m.

The Secretary opened the meeting for the nomination and election
of Chairman. Moved by Councillor Hajash that the same officers
be appointed, that being: V. Fabian as Chairman, and S. Merkl as
i Vice Chairman. Vote on the motion - Carried.

V. Fabian took over the Chair.
2. Minutes
Minutes of the October 21, 1981 meeting were read to the Committee.
Moved by Councillor Musgrove that we adopt these minutes. Carried.
3. Items Reported by the Development Control Officer
1. Gordon Karaki - SE 1-19-16-4 - Cassils
Application to Amend Land Use By-law
j Moved by Councillor Hajash that we recommend to County Council that
we advertise this proposed Land Use Change to the By-law. Carried.

2. Erwin P. Standar - NE 24-17-13-4 - Tilley
Application for Waiver of Land Use By-law Set-back
After reviewing this application, it was moved by Councillor Musgrove
that we approve the waiver of By-law to a maximum of 90 feet. Carried.

3. Rolling Hills Fertilizer Ltd. - NE 36-14-14-4 - Rolling Hills

This Permit was submitted to the Committee. Moved by E. Willms that
we approve this Permit under Discretionary Use. Carried.
4. United Farmers of Alberta Ltd. Co-op Ltd. - NW 7-19-14-4 - Brooks
Discretionary Use
This application was presented to the Committee. Moved by Councillor

Musgrove that we approve this Discretionary Use Permit. Carried.
