Municipal Planning Commission
December 9, 1981
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting was held in the
County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Wednesday, December 9, 1981
commencing at 7:30 p.m.

Minutes
Minutes of the November 10, 1981 meeting were read to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Hajash that we adopt these minutes. Carried.
1. P & J Hanrahan - Land Use Change - N~35-20-15-4
Moved by Councillor Musgrove that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
Business from Minutes:
Moved by Councillor Musgrove that we recommend to County Council
the advertising of this parcel for a land use change. Carried.
2. Karl Bartman - Land Use Change - NE 32-19-14-4
Moved by Councillor Hajash that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
Moved by S. Merkl that we recommend to County Council the advertising
of this parcel for a land use change. Carried.
3. R. Dixon - Land Use Change - NW 15-19-15-4
Moved by Councillor Musgrove that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
Moved by E. Willms that we recommend to County Council the advertising
of this parcel for a land use change. Carried.
New Business
1. E.I.D. Historical Park - Scandia
Development Permit for moved-in buildings to this proposed park
was presented to the Commission. After reviewing the proposal, it
was moved by Councillor Musgrove that we approve their request for
moved-in buildings for 1982. Carried.
2. Holtman & Richards - Land Use Change - N~ 22-18-14-4
This proposal was presented to the Commission and it was moved
by Councillor Musgrove that we table this item and refer it to
the Town of Brooks for comments. Carried.
3. D.L. Evans - S~ 1-19-15-4 - Land Use Change
Moved by Councillor Hajash that we recommend to County Council
the advertising of this parcel for land use change. Carried.
4. Rainier Community Centre - Discretionary Use Permit
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to the proposed
i addition to the Community Hall at Rainier. Moved by E. Willms that we
approve this permit. Carried.

5. Paul Juss - Moved-in House from Springhill to Rosemary Area
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this house.
Moved by Councillor Musgrove that we approve this permit, subject to
the Moved-in House Regulations being carried out. Carried.
6. Gordon Gallup - Waiver of By-law
Request from Gordon Gallup for waiver of By-law for placing building
closer than 125' from the center of the road was presented to the
Commission. After discussion on the item it was moved by S. Merkl
that we waive the 125' set-back regulation for this building permit
and that it be .restricted to 75' from the centre of the road. Carried.
January M.P.C. Meeting
Moved by Councillor Hajash that the January M.P.C. Meeting be set
for January 13, 1982. Carried.
