The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Wednesday, March 24, 1982 commencing at 2:35 p.m.

Minutes
The minutes of the February 24, 1982 meeting were read to the
Commission. Moved by Councillor Musgrove that the minutes of
the February 24, 1982 meeting be adopted as corrected. Carried.
Business from Minutes
1. Gary Holtman - Land Use Change
J. Byciuk and Russ Turgeon met with the Commission to discuss the
Gary Holtman Land Use Change. After a lengthy discussion on the
matter it was moved by Councillor Musgrove that we advertise for
the Land Use Change as requested from Urban Fringe to Country
Residence. Carried.
New Business
1. Ivan H. Wigemyr - Land Use Change - Agricultural to Country Residence
Application from Ivan H. Wigemyr for Land Use Change was presented to
the Commission for their review. Moved by Councillor Hajash that we
advertise for Land Use Change from Agricultural to Country Residence.
Carried.
2. Darrel Hanke - Moved-in House - Rolling Hills
This application was presented to the Commission for their review.
Moved by Councillor Musgrove that approval be given to Darrel Hanke
~~j to move the house from the present location adjacent to the old
I~~~~ Brooks Decorating Centre to Mr. Hanke's present Lot in Rolling
Hills subject to approval of the Rolling Hills Advisory Committee.
The trailer presently located on Mr. Hanke's Lot is to be removed.
Carried.
' 3. Smith Trucking - Concrete Plant - Discretionary Use
Application to relocate concrete plant from its present location
to Lot 10 Block 7 Plan 7710670 was presented to the Commission for
their review. Moved by S. Merkl that the request to relocate the
V"'' concrete plantfrom Lathom Concrete's present site to Lot 10 Block 7
Plan 7710670 be approved. Carried.
4. Shilo Equipment - Office - Discretionary Use
;„/ l~ Request to move Atco Office Building under Discretionary Use for
~ Urban Fringe to Lot 7 Block D Plan 1805 I.C. was presented to the
Commission for their review. Moved by S. Merkl that the request
to move an Atco Office Buiilding under Discretionary Use for Urban
Fringe to Lot 7 Block D Plan 1805 I.C. be approved. Carried.

III 1. McIntyre Request
A request to move mobile home onto Lot 4 Block 2 Plan 7811389 in
Scandia was presented to the Commission for their review. Moved
by Councillor Musgrove that the request to move a mobile home
onto Lot 4 Block 2 Plan 781389 be approved subject to the approval
of the Scandia Advisory Committee. Carried.
