The regular Municipal Planning Commission bieeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Wednesday, November 24, 1982 commencing at 4:00 p.m.

The meeting was opened for the nomination and election of Chairman
for this Commission. V. Fabian nominated by J. Hajash. Moved by
E. Willms that nominations cease. Carried.

S. Merkl was nominated by E. Willms. Moved by J. Hajash that
nominations cease. Carried.
Minutes
Minutes of the October 20, 1982 meeting were read to the Commission.
Moved by S. Merkl that we adopt these minutes as presented. Carried.
Business from Minutes
No business arose from the minutes.
New Business
1. Jerry St. John - Development Permit for Plywood Shell around
travel trailer at Redelback's Mobile Home lots
This application was reviewed by the Commission. Moved by E. Willms
that we refuse this Development Permit and that a letter be sent to
Mr. St. John advising him to remove this building from this property
within the next 6 months. Carried.
2. Philip Holloway - Moved-in Double Wide from Mortensen to
Cecil Blair Property
The Commission reviewed this Development Permit. Moved by Councillor
Hajash that we approve this Permit for advertising. Carried.
3. William Bell - Land Use Change from Agriculture to Hamlet General
Location - SW 13-17-17-4
Moved by S. Merkl that we approve this Land Use Change and recommend
it to County Council for advertising. Carried.
4. William Bell - Moved-in Double Wide at Bow City SW 13-17-17-4
The Commission reviewed this Development Permit. Moved by S. Merkl
that we refuse this Permit as the number of houses on this property
exceeds two as approved by our By-law. Carried.
5. Extension to E.I.D. Historical Park Permit ~~192
This Permit was issued for a period of one year on an ors-going basis.
j Moved by Councillor Hajash that we extend this Permit for a further
period of one year at no cost to the Park. Carried.
