Municipal Planning Commission
February 23, 1983
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting was held in
the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Wednesday, Feb.23/83
commencing at 4:00 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the January 19, 1983 meeting were read to the
Commission. Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we adopt
these minutes as read. Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
No business from the minutes.
3. New Business
1. Lynn P. McDowell - Moved-in House
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this
house and it was moved by S. Merkl that we ap~pove this application.

~~ 2. L. Benci .
Application from L. Benci to reclassify approximately 6.27 acres
out of Block C Plan 7811334 was presented to the Commission.
After discussion, it was moved by S. Merkl that we recommend to
County Council the advertising of this proposed land change from
Country Residence to Institutional. Carried.
3. Gerald Robinson - Land Use Change
Application from Gerald Robinson for Land Use Change from
Country Residence to Light Industrial was presented to the
Commission. Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we table this item
for more information and a further definition on Light Industrial.
Carried.
4. Gerald Robinson
Application under Discretionary Use for a Development Permit for
a workshop was presented to the Commission. Moved by S. Merkl
that this item be tabled for more information regarding the
above-noted proposed Land Use Change. Carried.
5. J. Lasante
Application from J. Lasante for a Land Use Change in Part of
the SW of 12-21-18-4 was presented to the Commission. Moved by
Councillor Scheuerman that we recommend to County Council the
advertising of this proposed Land Use Change from Agricultural to
Country Residential. Carried.
The Commission also wished to note their concern to County Council
in regard to the large number of Subdivisions in this area and
the setting up of future discussions in regard to Servicing
Agreements for these Subdivisions.
6. S. Haskayne
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to a
proposed subdivision in NE 19-21-18-4 and the required Land Use
Change from Urban Fringe to Country Residence. Moved by
Councillor Scheuerman that this item be tabled for more information.
Carried.
4. Adjourn
Meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
