Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
June 7, 1984
A special Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of
Newell was held in the County Office at 3:00 p.m. June 7, 1984.
Members Present Chairman V. Fabian
Councillors F. Worker
A. Scheuerman
Secretary D. James
Dev. Officer J. Manning
S. Rasmussen & E. Willms were in communication by telephone.
The Development Officer presented a request from Norman Young to
locate a mobile home one-half mile north of his present home site
and locate a double wide at the site that the present mobile home
is being moved from. The Development Officer explained that under
the Zoning By-law, this would mean that there would be more than
two houses on one quarter section. Mr. Young pointed out that, to
operate his dairy farm operation, these houses are required for
hired help. Moved by Councillor Worker that we waive the conditions
of the Zoning By-law under the Urban Fringe and Discretionary Use
and allow the mobile home and double wide to be moved as requested
by Mr. Young. All members voted in favour of the motion. The
necessary advertising for this development will now be carried out.
