Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
July 18, 1984
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of~N+~we11 No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Wednesday, July 18, 1984 commencing at 3:45 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the June 20, 1984 meeting were read to the Commission .
Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we adopt these minutes as
read. Carried.
2. Business from the Minutes
3-2 R. Richards
The Development Control Officer reported to the Commission on•the
results of her title search. Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that
this item be referred to Council. Carried.
?~ 3-12 M. Kenney
Moved by Councillor Workes that this item be lifted from the
table. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Workes that we advertise for land use
change from Industrial to Urban Fringe - 70 acres more or less
on Plan 7510659 Block B in the S~Z 22-18-14-4. Carried.
Moved by S. Rasmusson that we advertise for Land Use Change
from Industrial to Country Residence - 12 acres more or less
being part of Block B Plan 7510659 in the S'~ 22-18-14-4.
Carried.
3-3 N. Young - Land Use Change
Moved by E. Willms that we refuse this application for Land
Use Change from Urban Fringe to Country Residence because it
conflicts with our By-law in the fact that the residence is less
than 1000 feet from an intensive livestock operation. Carried.
4-2 Guidelines - Re: Country Residences
The Commission began a study of the guidelines regarding
Country Residences and will continue the study at the next M.P.C.
Meeting.
3. New Business
1. Ray Rommens - Waiver of Set Back
The Development Control Officer was instructed to obtain more
information on this item regarding ownership of access road and
set back from service road and bring this item back to the next
M.P.C. Meeting.
2. Doug Gray - Moved In Mobile Home
Moved by S. Rasmussen that we approve this application for
advertising. Carried.
3. Gerald Robinson - Plumbing Shop
Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we recommend to County Council
that in view of the proposed new use of this land by Geaald
Robinson that the property be cleaned up. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Workes that we table this application. pending
further investigation of the property for its suitability for the
proposed use. Carried. '
4. Adjourned
Moved by Councillor Workes that we adjourn at 5:50 p.m.
