Municipal Planning Commission
November 14, 1984
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Wednesday, November 14, 1984 commencing at 4:00 p.m.

Excused from Meeting
Moved by Councillor Workes that E. Willms be excused from this
meeting. Carried.
1. Minutes
Minutes of the October 24, 1984 meeting were read to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we approve these minutes as
corrected. Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
3-3 Gerald Robinson
The Development Control Officer reported on this item.
V ' 8-1 Country Residential Lots•
The Development Control Officer reported that she has had replies
from two of these residents.
3. Development Applications
1. Permit ~k478 - Moved-in Mobile Home.- Stan Clinton
After reviewing the information, it was moved by Councillor Workes
that we approve this moved-in mobile home application for
advertising. Carried.
2. Permit ~~479 - Moved-in Mobile Home - Tony Brummelhuis
After reviewing the information on this item, it was moved by
S. Rasmussen that we approve this moved-in mobile home application
for advertising. Carried.
3. Permit ~~482 - Shop - Richardson Brothers Olds Ltd.
After reviewing this information, it was moved by Councillor
Workes that we approve this permit for advertising. Carried.
4. Land Use Changes
1. A. Dietz
Application for A. Dietz for proposed Land Use Change in the
SE 15-18-14-4 from Urban Fringe to Industrial was presented
to the Commission. After discussion, it was moved by Councillor
Scheuerman that we table this application for more information.
Carried.
5. Subdivision Applications
No applications were presented.
6. Other Business
1. Waiver of Set-back Regulations - Dick Dick
Information was, presented to the Commission in regard to his
request to waive the set-back regulation on this property.
After discussion, it was moved by Councillor Scheuerman that
we waive our 40 metre set-back regulation for this house subject
to any future move of buildings, trees or fences being borne by
the owner of the property. Carried.
2. Waiver of Set-back Regulations - Gem Curling Club
A request from the Gem Curling Club for waiver of rear set-back
from their property was presented to the Commission. After
reviewing the information, it was moved by Councillor Workes
that we waive the set-back regulation for the addition to the
curling rink. Carried.
3. Honey Operation on Country Residence - Henk Dyk
The Development Control Officer presented information~on this item
and is to report back to the Commission.
4. Stock Pond - Closer than 40 metres from Road Allowance
The Development Control Officer reported on this item and is to
provide the Commission with more information.
5. W. Goudie - Proposed Application for Workshop on Country
Residential Property
The Development Control Officer is to present further information
back to the Commission on this item.
