Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Tuesday, March 19, 1985 commencing at 1:30 p.m. Members Present Chairman Councillors Representatives Planner D.C.O. Secretary V. Fabian A. Scheuerman F. Workes E. Willms S. Rasmusson D. Fleming J. Manning D. James 1. Minutes Minutes of the February 20, 1985 meeting were read to the Commi~s.ion. Moved by Councillor Workes that we approve these minutes as read. Carried. 2. Business from Minutes 4-2 Dennis Schultz - Development Permit Further information was presented to the Commission in regard to this Development Permit. Moved by Councillor Workes that we approve this Development Permit subject to the condition that no commercial, industrial or personal business operation be carried out in this building without prior approval of the M.P.C. Carried. 5-1 K. Aimoto - Land Use Change Moved by S. Rasmusson that we lift this item from the table. Carried. Further discussion took place on this proposed Land Use Change. Moved by S. Rasmusson that we ask Mr. Aimoto fora detailed area structure plan of this area prior to any further action being taken on this application. Carried. 3. Development Permits 495 - C. Benton - Moved-in Mobile Home Information on this Development Permit was presented to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we approve this application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried. 498 - D. Boschmann - Moved-in Mobile Home Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this Permit. Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we approve this application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried. 507 - M. Bulger - Dog Kennel Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this application. Moved by Councillor Workes that we approve this application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried. 508 - D.C. Hargrave - Residence Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this Permit. Moved by Councillor Workes that we approve this application for a farm residence and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried. 496 - Alco Feed Processing - Intensive Livestock Expansion Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this application. Moved by E. Willms that we table this item for more information. Carried. 505 - Lakeside Feeders - Intensive Livestock Expansion Information was presented to the Commission on this item. Moved by Councillor Workes that we table this application for more information and replies from other authorities. Carried. 509 - Plains Perforating - Addition to Shop Information was presented to the Commission in .regard to this item. Moved by Councillor Workes that we approve this application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried. 4. Business Permits 1. Doug Messenger Application from Doug Messenger to build hardwood furniture in his garage was presented to the Commission. Moved by E. Willms that we approve this Permit. Carried. 5. Land Use Change No applications. 6. Subdivision Applications No applications. 7. Other Business 1. Rick Scott - Waiver of Set-back Regulations Application from Rick Scott for waiver of set-back regulations to 107' from the center of the road was presented to the Commission. After discussion, it was moved by Councillor Workes that we approve this request for set-back regulations at 107'. Vote on the motion - lost. 8.
