Municipal Planning Commission
July 23, 1985
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, July 23, 1985 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the June 18, 1985 meeting were read to the Commission.
Moved by E. Willms that we adopt these minutes as read. Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
No business was brought forward from the minutes.
3. Permits
1. ~k544 - Patricia Communit Club - Renovations & Addition
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this Permit.
Moved by Councillor Workes that we approve this Permit subject
to the proper plans being approved under the Alberta Building Standards
~~ff Code. Carried.

2. #546 - Lori Shepherd - Moved-in Barn & Quonset
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this Permit.
Moved by S. Rasmussen that we approve this Permit and proceed with
the necessary advertising. Carried.
3. ~~548 - Zane Owen - Moved-in House
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this Permit.
Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we approve this Permit and
proceed with advertising under the condition that we waive the
set-back regulation subject to any future move required for road
widening being at the owner's expense. Carried.
4. 4549 - Anne Puddister - Addition to Mobile Home
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this Permit.
Moved by E. Willms that we table this Permit for more information
on this matter. Carried.
4. Land Use Changes
a 1. G. & J. Varady - Pt. NE 26-17-14-4
Mr. Varady attended the meeting and presented information on this
application and requested to have it changed from Agricultural
to Country Residence. After a lengthy discussion, it was moved
by E. Willms that we table this application for more information
and detailed drawings of the proposed subdivision. Carried.
2. A. & L. Seefried - Lot 13 Block 1 Plan 7910803
Urban Fringe to Country Residential
After reviewing the information on this application, it was moved
by Councillor Workes that we recommend the approval of this appli-
cation and refer it to County Council for final approval. Carried.

Licences
1. #4 - William Hoffart (Hoffart Auctioneering)
Application for business licence was presented to the Commission.
Moved by S. Rasmussen that we approve this licence. Carried.
Subdivisions
1. 85 SE 53 - County of Newell
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this appli-
cation, being Emerson Park. Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that
we approve this application and recommend to County Council for
approval. Carried.
Other Business
1. TransAlta - Subdivision Power
Discussion took place in regard to the supply of power to subdi-
visions. No further action was taken on this matter.
