M.P.C. Meeting
November 19, 1985
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, November 19, 1985 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the October 22, 1985 meeting were read to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Workes that we adopt 'these minutes as read.
Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
3-1(a) Pete Anderson - Welding Shop Permit
The Development Control Officer advised that this application
has been withdrawn.
3-1(b) Duchess Agape Christian School (Private School)
The Development Control Officer presented more information on
this item. It was then moved by Councillor Fabian that we table
this item and obtain legal advice on this matter. Carried.
3. Permits
1. ~~577 - Dolores Gellings - Horse Shelter
Information was presented to the Commission on this permit.
Moved by E. Willms that we approve this application and proceed
with advertising. Carried.
2. ~~578 - George Ward - Moved-in House
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this
~ permit. Moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve this appli-
cation and proceed with advertising. Carried.

~? 3. ~~579 - Arizon Oil Services Inc. - Construction of Shop
Information was presented to the Commission on this item. Moved
by S. Rasmussen that we approve this application and proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.
4. Land Use Amendments
1. Dale Flatla - Pt. NE 29-16-13-4 - Agr. to Ind. - 4.14 acres
After hearing the information on this application for Land Use
Change, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we recommend
to County Council the approval of this Land Use Change and adver-
tising. Carried.
5. Licences
No licences were presented.
6. Subdivisions
1. 85 SE 89 - Robert Brodie '
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this
application. Moved by Councillor Workea that we recommend to
County Council the approval of this application. Carried.
2. 85 SE 78 - Heinz Karnapke
Further discussion took place in regard to this application
and Mr. Karnapke is to be invited to the next M.P.C. Meeting
to discuss the proposed subdivision application further.
7. Other Business
1. Report
A report on the permits issued since the last meeting was presented
to the Commission.
8. Adjourn
Meeting adjourned at 2:35 p.m.
