The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, June 17, 1986 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

Excused from Meeting
Moved by E. Willms that Councillors Fabian and Workes be excused
from this meeting. Carried.
Minutes
Minutes of the May 20, 1986 meeting were read to the Commission.
Moved by S. Rasmussen that we adopt these minutes as read.
Carried.
Business from Minutes
1. 86 SE 39 - R. Perini
This item remained tabled.
Delegations
1. C. Blair
Mr. C. Blair met with the Commission to discuss his proposed
subdivision. After further discussion on this matter, it was
agreed by the Planning Commission that Mr. Blair should meet
with the Town Council first to get their opinion on the sub-
division before any further action is taken.
2. Fordine Coal
Julia Fulford, of Fording Coal, met with the Commission and
presented an application for a Development Permit for the Bow
City Coal Project. After a lengthy discussion on this matter,
it was moved by E. Willms that we approve Development Permit
#622, for Fording Coal, and proceed with advertising. Carried.

Lot 2 Block E Plan 8111866
Application from Schuett Homes for a moved -in house at the above -
noted location was presented to the Commission. Moved by S.
Rasmussen that we approve this application and proceed with
advertising. Carried.
2. #617 - Schuett Homes - Moved -in House
Lot 3 Block E Plan 8111866
Application from Schuett Homes for a moved -in house at the above -
noted location was presented to the Commission. Moved by E.
Willms that we approve this application and proceed with advertising.

Land Use Changes
There were no Land Use Changes presented.
Licences
1. Doug Jensen - Business Licence - SE 34-20-14-4
After reviewing this, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve
this Business Licence application. Carried.
2. Linda Woehr - NE 20-19-14-4
This application was reviewed by the Commission and it was then
moved by S. Rasmussen that we approve this Business Licence
application. Carried.
Subdivisions
1. 86 SE 47 - John & Theresa Galicz - NE 29-20-14-4
Application for subdivision at the above -noted location was
presented to the Commission. Moved by S. Rasmussen that we
recommend the approval of this application to County Council,
with a deferred Public Reserve. Carried.
2. 86 SE 48 - Fairville Hutterian Brethren - NW 15-22-19-4
After reviewing this, application for a cemetary parcel, it was
moved by E. Willms that we recommend the approval of this application
to County Council subject to a 50 foot right-of-way. Carried.
Other Business
1. Development Permit Report
The Development Permit Report was submitted to the Commission
for information.
