Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
July 22, 1986
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, July 22, 1986 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the June 17, 1986 M.P.C. meeting were read to the
Commission. Moved by S. Rasmussen that we adopt these minutes
as read. Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
1. 86 SE 39 - R. Perini
Moved by Councillor Workes that this motion be lifted from the
table. Carried.

Subdivisions
1. 86 SE 55 - Lavern A. Rose - NW 32-18-15-4
Application for subdivision at the above -noted location was
presented to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Workes that
we recommend the approval of this application to County Council
subject to cash in -lieu being set at $1500.00 per acre on the
subdivided parcel. Carried.
Mr. Robert Perini met with the Commission to provide further
information on this subdivision. After a general discussion
on this matter, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that this
item be tabled to a later date. Carried.

1. 4625 - Motokado Farms - Moved -in Mobile Home
Parcel B Plan 1976 F.G. Rainier
Application from Motokado Farms for a moved -in mobile home at
the above -noted location was presented to the Commission. Moved
by E. Willms that we approve this application and proceed with
the necessary advertising. Carried.
2. #628 - George Hemsing - Moved -in Mobile Home
NE 24-15-14-4 Rolling Hills
Application from George Hemsing for a moved -in mobile home at
the above -noted location was presented to the Commission. Moved
by Councillor Workes that we approve this application and proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.

There were no Land Use Changes presented.

There were no Business Licences presented.

Subdivisions
1. 86 SE 55 - Lavern A. Rose - NW 32-18-15-4
Application for subdivision at the above -noted location was
presented to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Workes that
we recommend the approval of this application to County Council
subject to cash in -lieu being set at $1500.00 per acre on the
subdivided parcel. Carried.
2. 86 SE 56 - Henry Peake - NE 6-24-15-4
Application for subdivision at the above -noted location was
presented to the Commission. Moved by S. Rasmussen that we
recommend the approval of this application to County Council
subject to a Domestic Water Agreement with the E.I.D., with
no cash in -lieu as this is the first parcel out of this quarter.
Carried.
3. 86 SE 66 - Alvin & Fern Nickel - SE 22-21-16-4
Application for subdivision at the above -noted location was
presented to the Commission. Moved by E. Willms that we recommend
the approval of this application to County Council subject to
a Domestic Water Agreement with the E.I.D., and cash in -lieu
being set at $1500.00 per acre. Carried.

1. Development Permit Report
The Development Permit Report was submitted to the Commission
for their information.
2. Energy Resources Conservation Board
A letter from the Energy Resources Conservation Board regarding
the Notice of Hearing for Fording Coal Limited to use the rail
siding at Cassils, Alberta for shipping bulk coal samples was
read to the Commission for information.

Moved by Councillor Fabian that the meeting adjourn at 3:30 p.m.
Carried.
