M.P.C. Meeting

The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, September 23, 1986 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Excused from Meeting
Moved by Councillor Fabian that Chairman Scheuerman be excused
from this meeting. Carried.
2. Vice Chairman
Vice Chairman Workes took over the chair.
3. Minutes
Minutes of the August 19, 1986 meeting were read to the Commission.
Moved by S. Rasmussen that we adopt these minutes as read. Carried.
4. Business from Minutes
1. 86 SE 39 - R. Perini
No action on this item.
5. Permits
1. Vince Graham - Moved -in Mobile Home
Application from Vince Graham for a moved -in mobile home to
be located on Lots 19 & 20 Block 3 Plan 1217 B.A. Patricia,
was presented to the Commission. After review, it was moved
by Councillor Fabian that we approve this application and proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.
2. Alberta Transportation
!Application from Alberta Transportation for a transportation
;.depot in NW 24-19-15-4 was presented to the Commission. After
review, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve this application
'and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried.
3. Odd Wester - Moved -in Mobile Home
Application from Odd Wester for a moved -in mobile home to be
located in NE 35-16-13-4 was presented to the Commission. After
review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve this
appl' roceed with the necessary advertising and further
;that ection 33(1)(b) of our Land Use By-law for this
mobile home. Carried.
6. Land Use Changes
1. J. Ressler - Block A Plan 7510659
;Application from J. Ressler for a land use change of this parcel
"from Industrial to Urban Fringe was presented to the Commission.
:After reviewing the matter, it was moved by S. Rasmussen that
we recommend to County Council the approval and advertising
of this land use change. Carried.
7. Licences
No applications were presented.
8. Subdivisions
1. 86 SE 68 - Town of Bassano
Application from the Town of Bassano for subdivision of the
Bassano Airport was presented to the Commission. Moved by
E. Willms that we recommend to County Council the approval of
this application. Carried.
2. 86 SE 72 - Ramer Ranches
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this
application. Moved by Councillor Fabian that we table this
item for more information in regard to the division of the water
supply system to this subdivision. Carried.
3. 86 SE 74 - Lavern Rose
This item was presented to the Commission for information only
at this time.
9. Development Report
The Development Report for September was presented to the Commission.
10. Other Business
1. Development Appeal Board
The Development Appeal Board report on Development Permit #622
was presented to the Commission for information.
