Municipal Planning Commission
January 27, 1987
The regular M.P.C. Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was
held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on January 27,
1987 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

Moved by Councillor Nelson that E. Willms and S. Rasmussen be
excused from this meeting. Carried.
1, Minutes
Minutes of the December 16, 1986 meeting were presented to the
Commission. Moved by Councillor Nelson that we adopt these
minutes as presented. Carried.
2, Business from Minutes
3-3 Darell Murray - Letter of Credit
The Administrator advised that Council has withdrawn their request
for a letter of credit from Mr. Murray. A special bank account
is being set up in place of the letter of credit.
3, Permits
1. 661 - Bow City Community Association
^ Development of Park Area - EZ 14-17-17-4
fit! ~ This application was presented to the Commission. After review,
it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve this application
and proceed with advertising. Carried.
2. 667 - Lakeside Farm Industries
Addition to Office - Parcel A Plan 7641 J.K.
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this application and waive our setback regulations and proceed
with advertising. Carried.
3. 668 - Lakeside Feeders Ltd. - Addition to Feedlot
NW 13-19-15-4 & Pt. NE 13-19-15-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve
this application and proceed with advertising. Carried.
4. 669 - Lakeside Packers
New Packing Plant & Cooler - SW 19-19-14-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this application and proceed with advertising. Carried.
5. 670 - R.L. Brodie - Moved-in Mobile Home - NE 8-18-14-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve
this application and proceed with advertising. Carried.
4. Land Use Changes
1. Donald,I.Owen, Patricia - SW 18-20-12-4
Agricu'1.tural to Highway Commercial
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we recommend
to County Council the approval and advertising of this application.
Carried.
5. Licences
1. Aage M. Christianson, Duchess - SE 1-22-15-4
Sporting Goods and Hunting Supplies
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this application. Carried.
2. Sherry Freimark, Scandia - SE 13-15-16-4
Home Carbonating System for Pop & Carbonated Juices
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve
this application subject to payment of licence fee. Carried.

This item remained tabled.

This item remained tabled.
3. 87 SE 2 - H. Richards - NW 31-14-13-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we recommend
to County Council the approval of this application. Carried.
4. 87 SE 4 - R. VanHall - NW 25-15-16-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we recommend
to County Council the approval of this application. Carried.
7. Other Business
1. Development Report
The Development Report for January was presented to the Commission.
