Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
April 28, 1987
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, April 28, 1987 commencing at 1:30 p. m.

1, Minutes
Minutes of the March 24, 1987 meeting were presented to the
Commission. Moved by Councillor Nelson that we adopt these
minutes as circulated. Carried.
2, Business from Minutes
There was no business arising from the minutes.
3, Permits

After reviewing this application, it was moved by Councillor
Nelson that we table this item, and refer it to the Rolling Hills
Advisory Committee for comments. Carried.

Residence - Duchess
After reviewing this application, it was moved by E. Willms that we
approve this application and recommend it to County Council for
approval and advertising. Carried.
5, Licenses
1. Kim & Cindy Schell - Home Mailers Business - Box 205
Rolling Hills
After reviewing this application, it was moved by Councillor
Fabian that we approve this application. Carried.
2. Black Magic Welding - Portable Welding - Box 1244, Brooks
SSW 21-19-14-4)
After reviewing this application it was moved by S. Rasmussen that
we approve this application. Carried.
3. Quyloo Services - Farm Machinery & Equipment Salvage - Brooks
After reviewing this application, it was moved by E. Willms that
we table this application. Carried.
4. Brian Telke - Auto Body Shop - SE 3-21-15-4 - Duchess
After reviewing this application, it was moved by Councillor Nelson
that we recommend that an application for Land Use Change be
submitted on this property from Agricultural to Light Industrial.
Carried.
6. Subdivisions
1. 87 SE 24 - Ramer Ranches
After review, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve this
application and recommend it to County Council for final approval.
Carried.
2. 87 SE 26 - Kargard
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve
this application and recommend it to County Council for final
r approval. Carried.
3. 87 SE 28 - Retzlaff
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve
this application subject to deferred Public Reserve, consolidation
of Titles and that it be recommended to County Council for final
approval. Carried.
4. 87 SE 29 - Schuett
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
and recommend this application to County Council for final approval.
Carried.
5. 87 SE 31 - Urban
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we table this
application_ Carried.
6. 87 SE 17 - Kaput and Dijk
This application was submitted for information only.
7, Other Business
1. Development Report
The Development Report for April was presented to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we accept this Report. Carried.
2. Development Permit ~k673 - Dick Dick
After review, it was moved by E. Willms that we lift this
application from the table. Carried.
After further discussion, it was moved by Councillor Fabian
that we refuse this application, as it does not conform with the
Land Use By-law. Carried.
3. Permit #344 - Gellings
A discussion took place in regard to this permit issued in 1981.
Moved by E. Willms that we table this item and refer the
matter to the Development Control Officer for further report
at the next meeting. Carried.
