Secretary W. Wells V. Fabian L. Nelson S. Rasmussen E. Willms D. Fleming D. Grosfield D. James 1, Minutes Minutes of the April 28, 1987 meeting were presented to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Nelson that we accept these minutes as circulated. Carried. 2, Business from Minutes 1. Permit ~k683 - Quyloo Services Moved by S. Rasmussen that we lift this item from the table. Carried. _ \,U Mr. John Leask met with the Commission to discuss his plans for this location. After further discussion, it was moved by S. Rasmussen that we table this item until Mr. Leask reports back on a proposed location for this operation. Carried. 2. Permit #689 - B. Deschamps Moved by Councillor Nelson that we lift this item from the table. Carried. After reviewing this application and information from the Development Control Officer, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve this Permit and proceed with advertising. Carried. 3. Permit ~~690 - D. Musgrove Moved by S. Rasmussen that we lift this item from the table. Carried. After discussion on this item and a report from the Development Control Officer, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve this application and proceed with advertising. Carried. 4. Permit ~k691 - Bow Slope Shipping Moved by E. Willms that we lift this item from the table. Carried. After presentation of information from the Development Control Officer and discussion on this Permit, it was moved by S. Rasmussen that we approve this Permit as discretionary use. Vote on the motion - Lost. 5. Licences - Quyloo Services This item remained tabled. 6. Subdivision 87 SE 31 - Urban Moved by Councillor Nelson that we lift this item from the table. Carried. Further discussion took place on this application and it was then moved by E. Willms that we approve and recommend this sub- division to County Council for approval subject to cash in-lieu-of at $1500.00/acre, a Servicing Agreement for service road and the utility lot to have joint ownership for the subdivision area. Carried. 7. Permit ~~344 - Gellings Moved by Councillor Nelson that we lift this item from the table. Carried. The Development Control Officer gave a report on this Permit. After discussion, it was moved by E. Willms that we table this item. Carried. 3, Permits 1. ~~694 - Allen Schmidt - Garage for Trucks Lot 4 Block 1 Plan 8211007 - Cassils/Brooks Mr. W. Crawford and Mrs. Schmidt attended the meeting to present information on this Permit. After discussion, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve this Permit and proceed with the necessary advertising subject to regulations being placed on the Permit that this garage be used for Mr. Schmidt's own vehicles only. Carried. 4. Land Use Changes There were no land use changes. 5. Licences 1. Patricia Dinosaur Corner Service Station Convenience Store - SW 18-20-12-4 Application for a Business Licence for the above-noted was presented to the Commission. After review, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve this Licence. Carried. 6. Subdivisions 1. 87 SE 17 - Kaput After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve this application subject to a Water Agreement with the E.I.D. Carried. 7. Other Business 1. Development Report The Development Report for May was presented to the Commission. 2. Canadian Western Natural Gas - Set-back Regulations After discussion on this item, the matter was referred to Doug Fleming, our Planner, for further study and report back to the Commission. 3. Keeping of Livestock & Poultry - Regulations After reviewing this item, this matter was referred to Doug Fleming, our Planner, for further review and report back to the Commission. 8.
