Organizational & Regular Meeting
September 29, 1987

1, Call Meeting to Order
The Secretary called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
2. Nomination & Election of Chairman
W. Wells nominated by L. Nelson. Moved by Councillor Fabian
that nominations cease. Carried.
3, Nomination & Election of Vice Chairman
E. Willms nominated by S. Rasmussen. Moved by Councillor Nelson
that nominations cease. Carried.
4. Meeting_Dates
Moved by Councillor Nelson that the regular M.P.C. Meetings
be held on the last Tuesday of each month. Carried.
5. Minutes
Minutes of the July 28, 1987 meeting were presented to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we accept these minutes as circulated.
Carried.
6, Business from Minutes
There was no business from the minutes.
7, Permits
1. ~k716 - Larry Christman - Moved-in Double Wide - SW 3-21-18-4
~ After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve
~r this application and carry out the necessary advertising. Carried.
2. ~~717 - J & G Prins - Mobile Home Park - SE 1-19-15-4
Mr. Bernie Blieske, Planner for UMA, met with the Commission
and presented the proposed mobile home park for J & G Prins.
After a lengthy discussion on this item, it was moved by E.
Willms that we approve this application subject to: percolation
tests being taken; pump outs on sewer systems, if required,
as indicated in the proposal; irrigation system arranged with
the Eastern Irrigation District for surface irrigation; a park
area being developed; the drain being removed from the area
as proposed by the Developer; and that the area be landscaped
as proposed by the Developer in his application. Vote on the
motion - Carried.
3. #719 - Ron Feser - Moved-in Mobile Home - NE 1-19-15-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this application and proceed with advertising. Carried.
4. ~k720 - 335753 Alberta Ltd. - Moved-in Mobile Home - SW 9-17-16-4
After review, it was moved by S. Rasmussen that we approve this
application and proceed with advertising. Carried.
5. ~~723 - Doug Gray - Moved-in Shop - SW 20-20-12-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this application and proceed with advertising. Carried.
g, Land Use Changes
There were no Land Use Changes.
9, Licences
1. Frank G Magee - Handyman Service
Moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve this licence. Carried.
10. Subdivision
1. 87 SE 31 - Urban
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to the
Servicing Agreement and this item is to be referred to County
Council for further discussion and approval.
11. Development Report
This was presented to the Commission for information.
12.
Other Business
1. 87 SE 57 - Benci
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we table
this application for more information. Carried.
2. 87 SE 68 - Murray
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we recommend
approval of this application to County Council. Carried.
3. Land Use By-law
Doug Fleming presented the revised Land Use By-law to the Commission
for review and proposed amendments. This is to be referred to
County Council for committee study or full Council study.
