Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
October 27, 1987
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting was held in
the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Tuesday, October 27,
1987 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the September 29, 1987 meeting were presented to
the Commission. Moved by E. Willms that we adopt these minutes
as circulated. Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
7-2 Prins Permit
The Secretary advised that this Permit has been appealed and
the Development Appeal Board will meet on November 6, 1987.
10-1 87 SE 31 - Urban
The Secretary advised that the Council made no changes to this
application.
~j ~ ~ 12-3 Land Use By-law Review
The Secretary advised that County Council has referred this
item to the M.P.C. for a total review of the By-law.
3. Permits
1. ~~729 - Gary Henkel - Moved-in Garage - NW 34-18-15-4
The Development Control Officer presented information to the
Commission on this application. After discussion, it was moved
by Councillor Nelson that we approve this application subject
to a caveat being placed on the property protecting the County
against any future costs in moving any of the improvements that
have been made to this area that might be brought about by future
widening of this road allowance; and that nothing further take
place on this application until written consent from the landowner
is received in regard to the placing of this caveat. Vote on
the motion - Carried.
4. Delegation
1. Gary Henkel
Mr. Henkel attended this meeting and presented information to
the Commission in regard to Development Permit X6729.
5. Land Use Changes
No Land Use Changes were presented at this meeting.
6, Licences
1. Tom Greenwood - Mobile Welding Service
Moved by E. Willms that we approve this licence. Carried.
7, Subdivisions
1. 87 SE 57 - Benci
This item remained tabled.
2. 87 SE 73 - Baksa
Doug Fleming presented information on this subdivision. It
was then moved by S. Rasmussen that this item be tabled for
more information. Carried.
8, Development Report
The Development Report for September was presented to the Commission.
9.
Other Business
1. ~-law Review
The Commission agreed that they would start this review at the
next regular meeting.
