Municipal Planning Commission
June 29, 1988
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Wednesday, June 29, 1988 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1, Minutes
Minutes of the May 31, 1988 meeting were presented to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Fabian that we adopt these minutes as presented.
Carried.
2, Business from Minutes
These items will be presented under the subdivisions.
3, Permits
1. #760 - Ian W. Dutton - Moved-in House - NW 7-19-13-4
Information was presented to the Commission on this Permit.
Moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve this Permit and proceed
with advertising. Carried.
2. ~~762 - Colin & Penny Huggons - Moved-in House - NE 18-19-13-4
Information was presented to the Commission on this Permit.
Moved by E. Willms that we approve this Permit and proceed with
advertising. Carried.
e 3. ~~764 - Darrel & Debbie Weerstra - Moved-in Mobile Home
Pt. SW 8-19-15-4
Information was presented to the Commission on this Permit.
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve this Permit and
proceed with advertising subject to access being off the service
road. Carried.
4. ~~765 Eric Pedersen - Moved-in House & Garage - SW 24-15-16-4
Information was presented to the Commission on this Permit.
Moved by E. Willms that we approve this Permit and proceed with
advertising. Carried.
4, Land Use Changes
1. Mary K Benci - Ag to Country Residence - Pt. NW 33-19-14-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we recommend
to County Council the approval and advertising of this Land Use
Change subject to subdivision approval. Carried.
5, Licences
There were no licences.
6, Subdivisions
1, 88 SE 29 - Askin
Moved by E. Willms that we lift this motion from the table.
Carried.
After review, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve this
application and recommend it to County Council. Carried.
2• 88 SE 42 - Youn
This application remained tabled.
3. 88 SE 48 - Martin
After review, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve this
application subject to Public Reserve at $2500.00 per acre and
recommend this to County Council. Carried.

After review, it was moved by E. Buday that we approve this
application and recommend it to County Council. Carried.

The Assistant Administrator advised that Brenda Miller had phoned
and would not be available at this meeting.
g, Development Report
The Development Report for June was presented to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we accept this report. Carried.
q, Other Business
1. Hamlet of Bow City - Zoning
After discussion on this item, it was referred to the next meeting
in hopes that we could get more information from the Committee
and owners in the Bow City area.
2. Amendments to Planning Act
Amendments to the Planning Act were distributed to the Commission
for review.

Moved by Councillor Nelson that the meeting adjourn at 3:00 p.m.
