Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
September 27, 1988
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, September 27, 1988 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the August 30, 1988 meeting were presented to the
Commission. Moved by E. Buday that we adopt these minutes as
circulated. Carried.
2, Business from Minutes
1. Permit #7 - G. Juss
The Secretary advised that the Development Appeal Board had
approved this Permit.
3, Permits
1. 9k782 - Surtec Services Ltd. - Building for Hay Processing
& Storage - NE 36-18-14-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve
this Permit and proceed with advertising. Carried.
2. ~k784 - J. & W. Wingrove - Moved-in Mobile Home - NE_33-19-14-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this Permit and proceed with advertising. Carried.
3, ~~788 - Lakeside Farm Industries - Poultry Barn - SE 13-19-15-4
= After review, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve this
~` Permit and proceed with advertising. Carried.
4. ~~789 - Randy Dixon - Moved-in Dwelling - NW 15-19-15-4
Lot 2 Block 1 Plan 8211747
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we refuse
this Permit as it does not conform with our Land Use By-law.
Carried.
5. ~k790 - Victory Church of Brooks - Meeting Hall - SE 8-19-14-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve
this Permit subject to no adverse comments being received from
all other authorities and that plans be provided for this building.
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we table this motion. Carried.
4. Land Use Changes

5, Home Occupation Licences.
Nil
6, Subdivisions
1, gg SE g2 - Benci
After review, it was moved by E. Buday that we table this application
for more information. Carried.

1. Development Report
The Development Report for September was presented to the Commission.
2. Land Use Report
Doug Fleming presented this report to the Commission.
3. County Residential Policy
Doug Fleming suggested that a Policy be drawn up to set regulations
for Country Residential Subdivisions and it was agreed that he
proceed on this matter and present it back to the Commission for
further study.
