Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
February 13, 1989
A Municipal Planning Commission Meeting was held in the County
Office at Brooks, Alberta on Monday, February 13, 1989 to discuss
the Crawling Valley Reservoir Area Structure Plan. The meeting
commenced at 9:30 a.m.

The Commission reviewed the proposed Crawling Valley Reservoir
Area Structure Plan and noted a number of questions.
At 11:00 a.m., Dave Hill, of the Eastern Irrigation District,
met with the Commission and these questions were brought to
his attention and his answers were noted.
Mr. Hill will now take the proposed Area Structure Plan back
and make the required revisions and provide the County with
25 copies of the amended edition for the next Council Meeting
on February 23rd, at which time they will be handed out to Council
for their study.
On March 9th, this draft copy will be brought back to Council
for first reading of a By-law for this Area Structure Plan,
at which time the necessary advertising and Public Hearing will
take place, if required. Following this, the By-law will be
brought back to Council for second and third readings at
approximately the first meeting in April. When passed, the
necessary development sections will be added to our proposed
new Land Use By-law and become part of our Land Use By-law.
