Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
June 27, 1989
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
of the County of Newell No. 4 was held in the County
Office at Brooks, Alberta on Tuesday, June 27, 1989
commencing at 1:30 p.m.

Excused From Meeting
Moved by E. Buday that Councillor Bulger be excused
from this meeting. Carried.
1. Minutes
Minutes of the May 30, 1989 meeting were presented
to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Conners that
we adopt these minutes as circulated. Carried.
2. Business from the Minutes
There was no business from the minutes.
3. Permits
1. #837 - Arno Hullman - Moved-in Mobile Home
SE 15-20-14-4 - Duchess
~ Moved by Councillor Conners that we approve this
~• application and proceed with advertising. Carried.
2. #841 - Otto Telke - Storage Stall Rentals
SW 17-19-14-4 - Brooks
Moved by E. Buday that we approve this application
subject to no outside storage being allowed and that
we proceed with advertising. Carried.
3. #844 - Brian Maldaner - Moved-in Double Wide
Mobile Home - NW 28-16-13-4 - Tilley
Moved by E. Buday that we approve this application
and proceed with advertising. Carried.

6. Subdivisions
1. 89 SE 26 - Day
This item remained tabled.
2. 89 SE 34 - Klassen
Moved by Councillor Conners that we lift this item
from the table. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Conners that we recommend to
County Council the approval of this application and
that the Public Reserve be deferred. Carried.
3. 89 SE 35 - A.D.C.
Moved by Councillor Conners that we approve this
application subject to the Titles being consolidated.
Carried.
4. 89 SE 36 - C.P.R.
Moved by E. Buday that we approve this application
subject to cash in-lieu-of Public Reserve being set
at $1500.00 per acre. Carried.
5. 89 SE 38 - Van Wert
Moved by E. Buday that we approve this application.
Carried.
6. 89 SE 39 - Stafford
Moved by Councillor Conners that we table this item.
Carried.
~'~ More information on an Area Structure Plan is to
be presented back from the Planning Commission.
7. Development Report
The Development Report for June was presented to
the Commission.
8. Delegation
1. E. Moss
Ed Moss and Glenda Goudie met with the Commission
to present further information on Permit #834. After
a lengthy discussion on this item, it was moved by
E. Willms that we table this application for more
information. Carried.
9. Other Business
1. Unsightly Premises - Block S Plan 3971 HY Brooks
After receiving information on this item, it was
moved by Councillor Conners that we refer this to
County Council for further action. Carried.
10. Zoning By-law
A short discussion took place on the new Zoning By-law
and the revised copy of this By-law will be presented
to Council in September for review and the necessary
advertising.
