Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
July 25, 1989
.. The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
of the County of Newell No. 4 was held in the County
Office at Brooks, Alberta on Tuesday, July 25, 1989
commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the June 27, 1989 meeting were presented
to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Bulger that
we adopt these minutes as circulated. Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
8-1 E. Moss - Feedlot - Permit #834
Moved by E. Willms that we lift this item from the
table. Carried.
A further report was presented to the Commission
in regard to this application. Moved by E. Buday
that we approve this application and that we allow
a 31' waiver of set-back; that the tree-belt area
be planted with tower poplar; and that any future
move of this feedlot or trees, required for additional
road widening, be borne by the owner. Carried.

There were no Permits: .
4. Land Use Changes
There were no Land Use Changes.
5. Home Occupation Licences
There were no Home Occupation Licence applications.
6. Subdivisions
1. 89 SE 26 - J. & S. Day
This item remained tabled.
2. 89 SE 39 - R. Stafford
Moved by E. Willms that we lift this item from the
table. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Conners that we recommend to
County Council that an Area Structure Plan be drawn
up for the area west and adjacent to the Town of
Brooks boundary and that we request the S.E. Alberta
Regional Planning Commission to complete this Plan
as soon as possible. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Bulger that we refuse application
89 SE 39 as it does not comply with our Area Structure
Plan at this time. Carried.
3. 89 SE 42 - D. & B. Penner
Moved by E. Buday that we approve this application
subject to consolidation of Titles as outlined on
the application. Carried.
4. 89 SE 43 - D. & P. Hasselberg
This application was presented for information.
5. 89 SE 45 - Lakeside Feeders
This application was presented for information.
7. Development Report
The Development Report for the month of July was
presented. Moved by Councillor Conners that we
accept this report. Carried.
8. Delegation
1. E. Zander
Mr. E. Zander met with the Commission to discuss
a proposed Subdivision Plan for Norrie Young.
9. Other Business
1. Quyloo Services
Information was presented to the Commission in regard
to proposed site developments for this service.
The Commission is to inspect some of these sites
following a meeting.
2. Centennial/Lakeside Merger
Information was presented to the Commission on this
item.
3. Alberta Public Health Advisory & Appeal Board
Information was presented to the Commission on this
matter and it will be discussed further at the next
M.P.C. Meeting.
