Minutes Minutes of the July 25, 1989 meeting were presented to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Bulger that we adopt these minutes as circulated. Carried. 2. Business from Minutes 6-1 89 SE 26 - J. & S. Day This item remained tabled. 9-1 Quyloo Services A report was given on the inspection of this property. 9-3 Alberta Public Health Advisory & Appeal Board This item will be reviewed under Other Business. (see Livestock Siting & Planning Steering Committee Report) 3. Permits 1. ~~848 - Roy Hagg & Ida Stephens - Moved-in House Lot 2 Block 2 Plan 8311138 - Brooks Moved by E. Willms that we approve this application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried. Buday that we approve this application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried. 3. 4856 - Band-Jo Oilfield Services Ltd. - Shop Building Block 2 Plan 7510619 - Brooks Moved by Councillor Conners that we approve this application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried. 4. #859 - Quyloo Services - Machinery Salvage NW 20-18-14-4 - Brooks Moved by E. Willms that this item be tabled until they apply for a Land Use Change and meet the conditions set by the Development Control Officer. Carried. 4. Land Use Changes There were no Land Use Changes. 5. Home Occupation Licences There were no Home Occupation Licences. 6. Subdivisions 1. 88 SE 64 - Rommens - 6 Month Extension Moved by Councillor Conners that we approve the 6 month extension applied for. Carried. 2. 89 SE 43 - Hasselberg, Darryl & Peggy Moved by Councillor Conners that we approve this application subject to Hasselbergs entering into our standard agreement and cash in-lieu-of Public Reserve being set at $1500.00 per acre. Carried. 3. 89 SE 45 - Lakeside Feeders Ltd. Moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve this application subject to waiver of the service road. Carried. 7. Development Report The Development Report for August was presented to the Commission. Moved by E. Buday that we accept this report. Carried. 8. Other Business 1. 88 SE 14 - Lukye Letter from Kay, Kay & Riggins regarding this subdivision and inquiring whether or not a Service Agreement is needed and if municipal reserve is required at this time, was read to the Commission. Moved by Councillor Conners that we advise Kay, Kay & Riggins that no Service Agreement is required and that cash in-lieu-of Public Reserve on this subdivision remain deferred. Carried. 2. Advertising in 2 Papers The Assistant Administrator inquired whether the Commission feels .the advertisements should be placed in both local papers. The consensus was that only applications in the Bassano area be advertised in the Bassano paper. 3. Livestock Siting & Planning Steering Committee Report This Report was reviewed by the Commission. Moved by E. Willms that the Chairman and the Development Control Officer attend the meeting in Lethbridge on September 6, 1989. Carried. 9. Adjourn Meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
