Municipal Planning Commission
September 26, 1989
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, September 26, 1989 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1, Minutes
Minutes of the August 29, 1989 meeting were presented to the
Commission. Moved by Councillor Conners that we adopt these
minutes as circulated. Carried.
2, Business from Minutes
6-1 89 SE 26 - J. & S. Day (tabled)
Moved by Councillor Conners that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
Moved by Councillor Bulger that we file this application as a
new application is being made. Carried.
3-4 Permit #859 - Quyloo Services (tabled)
No further report was made on this Permit.
6-2 89 SE 43 - Hasselberg
Information was requested in regard to the Service Agreement
W required for this subdivision. After discussion, it was moved
~ by Councillor Conners that we waive the condition for a Service
Road Agreement. Carried.
3, Permits

Moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve this application.
Carried.

Communication Tower - SW 28-16-11-4 - Kinninvie
Moved by E. Buday that we approve this application. Carried.
3. ~~865 - LeBlanc & Royle Telecom Inc.
Communication Tower - NE 22-18-14-4 - Brooks
Moved by Councillor Conners that we approve this application.
Carried.
4. #866 - LeBlanc & Royle Telecom Inc.
Communication Tower - SW 11-21-18-4 - Bassano
Moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve this application.
Carried.
5. ~k870 - Sharon Wenner - Moved-in Mobile Home
NE 34-18-15-4 - Brooks
Moved by Councillor Conners that we approve this application.
Carried.
4. Land Use Changes

6. Delegation
1. Ken Lutes - Young Subdivision
Mr. Ken Lutes met with the Commission to discuss the proposed
Young Subdivision 89 SE 56.
7. Subdivisions
1. 89 SE 56 - Youn
After further discussion on this subdivision, it was moved by
E. Willms that we recommend the approval of this subdivision
to County Council subject to final approval not being granted
until the dairy operation: being cows, milk quota and dairy
equipment have been sold. Carried. Moved by Councillor Conners
that we set the cash in-lieu-of Public Reserve on this subdivision
at $1500.00 per acre and that the necessary Land Use Change be
approved prior to approving the Subdivision. Carried.
2. 89 SE 53 - J. & S. Da
After review, it was moved by Councillor Conners that we recommend
approval of this subdivision to County Council and that cash
in-lieu-of Public Reserve be deferred. Carried.
3. 89 SE 45 - Lakeside Packers
Further information was presented on this application and it
was moved by Councillor Bulger that we recommend to County Council
that cash in-lieu-of Public Reserve be set at $1500.00 per acre
on this subdivision. Carried.

The Development Report was presented to the Commission.
9. Other Business
1. Waiver of Set-back - John P. Buday, Tilley
Waiver of 10' to Extend Shop - SW 8-17-13-4
Moved by E. Buday that she be excused from discussion and voting
on this matter. Carried.
After further review, it was moved by E. Willms that we approve
the 10' waiver of set-back as requested. Carried.
2. Victory Church
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to rebuilding
this Church and that they have requested that the size of the
building be expanded to approximately 20'. Moved by E. Willms
that we approve this application subject to the new application
and plans showing the proposed extension to the original building.
Carried.
