Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
December 18, 1989
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County.
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Monday, December 18, 1989 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the November 22, 1989 meeting were presented to the
Commission. Moved by Councillor Nelson that we adopt these minutes.
as circulated. Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
There was no business arising from the minutes.
3. Permits
1. ~~884 - N L Young -Moved-in Mobile Home - SE 19-18-14-4 -Brooks
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this application and proceed with the necessary advertising.

2. ~~887 -George Risdale - Moved-in Mobile Home & Addition
NE 3-19-14-4 - Brooks
After review, it was moved by G. Niznik that we approve this
application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried.

SE 8-19-14-4 - Brooks
After review, it was moved by Councillor Bulger that we table
this item until our January Meeting. Carried.
4. Land Use Changes
1. Subdivision - Betty Dick
Cam Christianson met with the Commission to present a proposal
of subdivision for Mrs. Betty Dick. After discussion, it was
moved by E. Buday that we table this item for more information.
Carried.
5. Home Occupation Licences
Nil
6. Subdivisions
1. 89 SE 73 - Galarneau
Moved by Councillor Bulger that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
After reviewing the information, it was moved by Councillor Bulger
that we approve this application and recommend it to County Council
for approval. Carried.

2. 89 SE 97 - Alberts
After review, it was moved by E. Buday that we approve this application
and recommend it to County Council for approval. Carried.
1. New Land Use By -law
The M.P.C. will be reviewing this By-law in January.
Other Business
2. Development Report
The Development Report for December was presented to the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we accept this report. Carried.
