Minutes of the Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
March 20, 1990
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was field in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, March 20, 1990 commencing at 1:00 p.m.

1• Minutes
Minutes of the February 27, 1990 meeting were presented. Moved
by Councillor Nelson that we adopt these minutes as circulated.
Carried.
2• Business from the Minutes
7-4 Permit ~~828 - Maxine R. Breakell
The Chairman gave a report to date on this Permit.
3• Permits
1. ~~897 - Mario}& Addy Bonora - New Dwelling
Lot 6 Plan 8310857 - Brooks
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve this Permit waiving
the set-back on both sides, the front and the back. Carried.
4• Land Use Changes
1. SW 10-19-14-4 - Neil Johnson - A riculture to Countr Residence
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we excuse Councillor Wells from
e~ ~ discussion and voting on this Land Use Change. Carried.

After discussion, it was moved by Councillor Bulger that we table
this item until D. Fleming, from the S.E. Alberta Regional Planning
Commission, arrives. Carried.
5• Home Occupation Licences
There were no Home Occupation Licences.
6• Subdivisions
1. 88 SE 53 - Ben Gray - 3-month Extension
Moved by G. Niznik that we approve a 3-month extension on this
application. Carried.
2. 89 SE 56 - N.L. Young Sr. - 3-month Extension
Moved by G. Niznik that we approve a 3-month extension on this
application. Carried.
D. Fleming arrived at the meeting.
3. 90 SE 19 - Northcott
Discussion took place on this Subdivision Application. This
item was then referred back to D. Fleming for more information.
7. Other Business
1. Development Report
Moved by E. Buday that we accept the Development Report for
March, 1990. Carried.
2. Addition of Land llse District to By-law
Direct Control District
After discussion on this item, it was referred to D. Fleming
to study and bring back further information at the next meeting.
3. Application Forms for Development Permits
The Development Control Officer discussed changes on forms for
Development Permits.

Moved by Councillor Bulger that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
With D. Fleming in attendance, this application was discussed
further. Moved by Councillor Nelson that we table this application
for more information. Carried.
