Minutes of the Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
April 24, 1990
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, April 24, 1990 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1• Minutes
Minutes of the March 20, 1990 meeting were prese nted. Moved
by Councillor Bulger that we adopt these minutes as circulated.
Carried.
2• Business from Minutes
7-4 Permit #828 - M.R. Breakell
The Secretary gave an up-date on this matter and advised that
the three parties concerned would be meeting to discuss this
further.
3• Permits
1. ~~899 - Ilene Douglas - Addition to Country Inn
SW 33-19-14-4
This application was presented to the Commission. Moved by
Councillor Bulger that we approve this application and proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.

A letter is to be sent to Ilene Douglas advising of this
recommendation.
2. 4k900 - P & H Oilfield Maintenance - Addition to Shop
NE 34-18-15-4
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this application and proceed with the necessary advertising.
Carried.
4• Land Use Changes
There were no Land Use Changes.
5• Home Occupation Licences
1. 4~4 - Alpine Welding Ltd. - Plan 7410106
Expanding Beyond Conditions of Approval
The Development Control Officer presented information regarding
this Licence. Moved by Councillor Bulger that we send a letter
to Alpine Welding Ltd. instructing them that they must comply
with the conditions of the present Licence. Carried.
6. Subdivisions
1. 90 SE 19 - Northcott
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we table
this application for further study by our Planner. Carried.
2. 90 SE 26 - E.I.D.
After review, it was moved by G. Niznik that we approve this
application and recommend it to County Council for final approval.
Carried.
3. 90 SE 31 - Bandura
After review, it was moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve
this application and recommend it to County Council for final
approval. Carried.
7. Other Business
1. 90 SE 18 - Neil Johnson
Moved by Councillor Nelson that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
Moved by Chairman Wells that he be excused from the Chair while
Mr. Johnson is in attendance at this part of the meeting. Carried.
Vice Chairman Buday took over the Chair.
Mr. Johnson met with the Commission and explained the proposed
subdivision. Moved by G. Niznik that we approve the proposed
Land Use Change and recommend it to County Council for advertising
and final approval. Carried.
Chairman Wells returned to the meeting and took over the Chair.
8. Development Report
Moved by E. Buday that we accept the Development Report as presented.
Carried.
9. Adjourn
Moved by G. Niznik that the meeting adjourn at 3:00 p.m. Carried.
