Minutes of the Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
May 29, 1990
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, May 29, 1990 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

Excused from Meeting
Moved by Councillor Bulger that Councillor Wells be excused from
this meeting. Carried.
In the absence of Chairman Wells, Vice Chairman E. Buday took
the chair.
1• Minutes
Minutes of the April 24, 1990 meeting were presented. Moved
by Councillor Nelson that we adopt these minutes as circulated.
Carried.
2• Business from the Minutes
There was no business from the minutes.
3• Permits

This application was presented to the Commission and it was moved
by G. Niznik that we approve this application and proceed with
the necessary advertising. Carried.

This application was presented to the Commission and it was moved
by Councillor Bulger that we approve this application and proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.

This application was presented to the Commission and it was moved
by Councillor Nelson that we approve this application and proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.

This application was presented to the Commission and it was moved
by G. Niznik that we approve this application and proceed with
the necessary advertising. Carried.

This application was presented to the Commission and it was moved
by Councillor Bulger that we approve this application and proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.
6. 46911 - John Ketchmark - Moved-in Mobile Home

This application was presented to the Commission and it was moved
by Councillor Nelson that we approve this application and proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.
4. Land Use Changes
There were no Land Use Changes.

1. 4613 - Norris E. Marcy - Light Industrial Mechanics
SE 29-19-14-4 - Brooks
The Development Control Officer presented information on this
licence. Moved by G. Niznik that we approve this application
subject to all items being stored in-doors and not scattered
outside causing unsightly premises. Carried.
2. 4614 - Bea Vikedal - Cake Decorating
NW 34-18-15-4 -Brooks
The Development Control Officer presented information on this
licence. Moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve this
application. Carried.
3. 4615 - Pamela Clark - Therapeutic Massage
Lot 9 Block 9 Plan 2819 D.B. - Patricia
The Development Control Officer presented information on this
licence. Moved by Councillor Nelson that we approve this
application. Carried.
6. Subdivisions
1. 90 SE 18 - Johnson
t _ 1 Moved by Councillor Bulger that we lift this item from the table.

Moved by Councillor Nelson that we recommend approval of this
application to County Council with cash in-lieu-of Public Reserve
being set at $2500.00 and a Service Agreement with the County
being obtained. Carried.
2. 90 SE 19 - Northcott
This item remained tabled.
3. 90 SE 35 - Wetteskind
D. Fleming gave information on this Subdivision and after review,
it was moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve this application
and recommend it to County Council for final approval. Carried.
7. Other Business
There was no other business.

The Development Report for the month of May was presented to
the Commission. Moved by G. Niznik that we accept the Development
Report as presented. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Nelson that the meeting adjourn at 2:50 p.m.
