Minutes of the Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
November 27, 1990
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, November 27, 1990 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

1. Minutes
Minutes of the October 30, 1990 meeting were presented. Moved
by Councillor Bulger that we adopt these minutes as circulated.
Carried.
2. Business from Minutes
1. 90 SE 90 - McKnight Subdivision
Moved by Councillor Bulger that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
Mr. Bob McKnight attended this meeting and presented his information
on this proposed subdivision. After further discussion, it was
moved by E. Buday that we approve this subdivision and recommend
it to County Council for final approval. Carried.
3. Permits
There were no permits.
4. Land Use Changes
There were no land use changes.
5. Licences
There were no applications for licences.

W~ 1. 90 SE 96 - Douglas Countr Inn
After review, it was moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve
this application subject to a joint road approach servicing
agreement and that we recommend this to County Council for final
approval. Carried.
2. 90 SE 97 - Grosfield - Lonestar Farms Ltd.
After review, it was moved by Councillor Wallace that we approve
this application and recommend it to County Council for final
approval. Carried.
3. 90 SE 98 - Yamashiro
Mr. Chuck Hale, and the proposed purchaser of this subdivision,
were in attendance to present their comments on the proposed
subdivision. After discussion, it was moved by E. Buday that
we approve this subdivision application and recommend it to
County Council for approval. Carried.
7. Other Business
1. Building Permit - Regulations Review
The Commission reviewed the building permit regulations as proposed
by the Government and they will present their concerns on these
regulations to County Council at the next Council Meeting.
Lunch
The Commission recessed for lunch from 11:45 - 12:45 p.m.
2. Cassils Road Area Structure Plan
Doug Fleming presented detailed information on this proposed
draft plan to the Commission. After a lengthy discussion on
this item, it was agreed that copies of this draft plan be made
available to Council members. Moved by E. Buday that we approve
this draft plan and have Doug Fleming, our Planner, present it
to Council on January 10, 1991. Carried.
8. Development Report
The Development Report for November was presented to the Commission.
9. Adjourn
Moved by Councillor Wallace that this meeting adjourn at 2:00 p.m.
Carried.
